Established in February 1950 in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, HTS demonstrated its commitment to international growth by founding its first overseas subsidiary, Hitachi Transport System (PTE) Ltd. (TAS), in Singapore in 1976.

In the Philippines, MIFFI was founded in 1988 to address the growing demand for specialized logistics services. By 1995, TAS strategically invested in MIFFI to support the logistics needs of Hitachi plants establishing operations across the country. This partnership combined HTS’s advanced technologies with MIFFI’s localized capabilities, enabling the company to deliver efficient, high-quality logistics services—blending Japanese precision with Filipino ingenuity.

On April 1, 2023, Hitachi Transport System, Ltd. officially rebranded as LOGISTEED, Ltd. The name “LOGISTEED” reflects a vision that transcends traditional logistics—combining the core concept of “LOGISTICS” with the ambition to Exceed, Proceed, Succeed, and Speed. This rebranding embodies a renewed purpose: to lead organizations into new domains of value creation through innovative supply chain solutions.

Since its introduction as a business concept in 2017, LOGISTEED has represented the group’s forward-looking stance.
