Manila International Freight Forwarders Inc. (MIFFI) is a trusted logistics partner in the Philippines, delivering innovative and reliable freight forwarding solutions since 1988. With decades of experience, MIFFI has built a strong foundation in localized logistics expertise, serving diverse industries with efficiency, precision, and a commitment to excellence.
Heritage and Global Integration
The company’s roots are closely tied to the global expansion of Hitachi Transport System (HTS). Established in February 1950 in Hitachi City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, HTS demonstrated its commitment to international growth by founding its first overseas subsidiary, Hitachi Transport System (PTE) Ltd. (TAS), in Singapore in 1976.
In the Philippines, MIFFI was founded in 1988 to address the growing demand for specialized logistics services. By 1995, TAS strategically invested in MIFFI to support the logistics needs of Hitachi plants establishing operations across the country. This partnership combined HTS’s advanced technologies with MIFFI’s localized capabilities, enabling the company to deliver efficient, high-quality logistics services—blending Japanese precision with Filipino ingenuity.
Transformation into LOGISTEED
On April 1, 2023, Hitachi Transport System, Ltd. officially rebranded as LOGISTEED, Ltd. The name “LOGISTEED” reflects a vision that transcends traditional logistics—combining the core concept of “LOGISTICS” with the ambition to Exceed, Proceed, Succeed, and Speed. This rebranding embodies a renewed purpose: to lead organizations into new domains of value creation through innovative supply chain solutions.
Since its introduction as a business concept in 2017, LOGISTEED has represented the group’s forward-looking stance. With the corporate vision of becoming the most preferred global supply chain solutions provider, the rebranding marks a new chapter of transformation—grounded in heritage and inspired by the future.

| 1990 | The Philippine Economy was on the rise. Many International Freight Forwarders started establishing Philippines Branches. |
| 1995 | Hitachi Transort System, Ltd. of Japan invested in MIFFI, making MIFFI parts of HTS group. |
| 2003 | Established MIFFI Logistics Co. Inc. (MLCI) to service Export Companies under the Philippine Export Zone Authority (PEZA). |
| 2009 | Continuous expansion to Non-Hitachi Companies. Operating location were increased to 3 branches office and 4 warehouses from Subic to Batangas. |
| 2012 | MLCI established LIMA Distribution Center (LDC) to cater LIMA Technology Center |
| 2017 | Cebu Branch opened to expand freight forwarding business in the south. |
| 2021 | MLCI established Pampanga Branch in Angeles City last February 2021 |
